- Day 1: Introduction to Design with Diego & MiguelDiego GV will place us in the current agroecological context. Later, we will move on to the practical aspect. In this session, we will learn how to design a garden based on solar exposure, crop type, and other variables. We will study the characteristics of our space, trace contour lines, and create the design for our garden.1
- Day 2: Syntropy with Ana Sosa AyalaThe second day of training, this time led by Ana Sosa Ayala (founder of CALARÁ, an initiative dedicated to the design and training of Syntropic Agroforestry and 'Food Forest' systems), is divided into three parts where she speaks about the benefits of changing the way we cultivate, for the production, the soil, and the community.1
- Day 3: Water with Ismael Caballero and Anael HervásOn the third day of training, Ismael Caballero and Ana Hervás (founders of ISMANA), we speak about water.1
- Day 4: Soil Health and Working the LandOn the fourth day we check the Soil's health and we are working the land.1
- Day 5: Permaculture PrinciplesDiego teaches us how to apply permaculture—a holistic system that mimics the way nature works—to an agroecological production project in order to manage our resources efficiently and locally, without setting aside the most important factor of all: the human one. We will see examples of how to organize our space beyond just cultivation.1
